CivilMedia@TW has been established since 2007, which is an independent and alternative media, recording social movements through videos in Taiwan. We report social movements to express their values and claims of the movements and social care for human right, environment, culture, migrant workers, media, social welfare, gender, aboriginals and so on.
CivilMedia@TW not only aims to reserve citizen’s view on social movements which are ignore by mass media, but also focuses on reporting important social issues in many aspect. Dedicated themselves into the society, CivilMedia@TW hopes every citizen can feel like being in the processes of social movements when they watch videos on CivilMedia@TW.
CivilMedia@TW is an alternative media through reporting every activity and social movement in Taiwan so that every kind of social issue can be found in the society.

Synopsis

Yung Ta Institute of Technology and Commerce was the one of the best choices for students in Southern Taiwan. However, it declared permanently closure in 2014. Under the trend of closure in higher education, Yung Ta Institute of Technology and Commerce became history. Yung Ta is just the beginning of the results from fertility decline. What happens next? Is Yung Ta the only closure? Who should be responsible for this?
